Cristiano Ronaldo Celebrates His Mom With A Gift Of Sparkling New Benz For Mother’s Day (Photo)


Cristiano Ronaldo has gifted a brand new Mercedes to his mother Maria Dolores to celebrate her on Portuguese Mother’s Day.
Overjoyed Dolores Aveiro showed off a new set of wheels for her Mother’s Day presents from Cristiano Ronaldo and his three siblings.

The 65-year-old posted a picture alongside a top-of-the range black Mercedes with a red ribbon and flowers in her arms. She wrote;

“Thanks to my children for the presents I received from them today.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all mums.”
  Her daughter Katia, replied in a clear reference to Dolores’ recent    stroke:
“You deserve the world mum.
“We are here to care for you. Have a lovely day my darling mum.”

Cristiano Ronaldo, also took to social media to wish his mother and partner Georgina Rodriguez, a happy Mother’s Day.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to my two special women,’ he said, with two pictures of Maria and Georgina.

One showed Dolores with her arms round him and a broad smile on her face.

The other showed him sleeping while Georgina planted a tender kiss on his forehead.

ShopRite to exit Nigerian market after 15 years.

Africa’s biggest grocery retailer, Shoprite, has announced plans to discontinue operations in Nigeria, after 15 years. The South African retailer in a statement released on Monday, revealed it has started a formal process to consider the potential sale of all or a majority stake in its supermarkets in Nigeria. In the statement, Shoprite said the results for the year do not reflect any of their operations in Nigeria as it will be classified as a discontinued operation. “Following approaches from various potential investors, and in line with our re-evaluation of the Group’s operating model in Nigeria, the Board has decided to initiate a formal process to consider the potential sale of all, or a majority stake, in Retail Supermarkets Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Shoprite International Limited, the statement reads. “As such, Retail Supermarkets Nigeria Limited may be classified as a discontinued operation when Shoprite reports its results for the year. A Nigerian company has finally made the country proud by manufacturing the country's first electric car. An indigenous company called JET Motor Company has manufactured the nation’s first electric vehicle called JET EV. According to Naija Stories on Twitter on Wednesday, July 22, the prototype of the machine was taken on a 300km test drive from Lagos to Benin. Before the test drive, the manufacturer already got a fund backing of $9 million (N3,487,500,000) backing from Canadian-based Africa Development Capital, Techpoint reports.
