John Obi Mikel donates more food items to people in Jos amid COVID-19


 John Obi Mikel has given out more food items to help sustain the needy in time of economic hardship - The 33-year-old donated bags of rice, beans and noodles to communities in Jos, Plateau state - Mikel had his contract terminated after a disagreement with Turkish club Trabzonspor John Obi Mikel has for the second time within the space of two weeks donated food items to the needy. 

This time the former Super Eagles captain distributed bags of rice and beans as well as noodles to people in need in Jos, Plateau state. The ex-Chelsea midfielder made a post on his Instagram story with pictures of the items and a banner of himself wearing the Nigerian jersey. "Together we can all help. Today in Jos. John Mikel Obi has made his contributions to support the less privilege Nigerians survive during the lockdown amid COVID-19 crisis. The former Super Legend captain who recently ended his contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor, distributed 1,800 crates of eggs to some communities in the country. Mikel also urged Nigerians to be of help to one another during the challenging period with his post on Instagram handle.
