Dan Foster, popular radio host, is dead
A source told Xmediathat the veteran radio host died around 1pm on Wednesday.
“He died today around 1pm. His wife is currently at the isolation centre in Yaba as we speak,” said the source.
While the cause of his death is yet to be confirmed — as of the time this report was filed — immediate suspicion is that he died of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus.
Prior to his demise, Foster, who is well known among his fans as ‘The Big Dawg’ and ‘Top Dawg’, worked with Cool FM, Inspiration FM, City FM and Classic FM.
He was a judge on ‘Nigeria’s Got Talent’ alongside Kate Henshaw, a Nollywood actress, and Yibo Koko, a comedian.
The radio personality was also a former judge of ‘Idols West Africa’ series. He held a similar position with the ‘Got Talent’ franchise.
Foster passed away days after Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of Ituah Ighodalo, senior pastor of Trinity House Church in Lagos, died of a heart attackin her sleep while in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers state.
